Born in Reykjavik, Anita started acting when she was just nine years old. She moved to England at age 16, where she graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Throughout her childhood and teen years, this badass babe studied hand-to-hand combat and broadsword. Once this tough chick was all grown up, she made some appearances of episodes of the hit series Doctor Who (2004) before making her big, sexy splash on the small screen as Jane Seymour on The Tudors (2008). She went on to star in the blockbuster flick Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) the very same year. Later, Anita appeared in Up Close With Carrie Keegan (2008), Everything Will Happen Before You Die (2009), Dylan Dog: Dead of Night (2010), Queen of Hearts (2011), You, Me & the Circus (2011), Elevator (2011), and Salt and Fire (2016). Sadly, those roles weren't so fiery -- Anita kept her lithe, blonde body under wraps. In fact, she still hasn't given us a glimpse of her naughty "northern lights," but we came damn close to seeing those Icelandic icebergs in the horror comedy The Drone (2019), in which Anita sunbathes topless and gives us a sexy poolside bikini bounce or two.
