Clay Pigeon (1971)

Tom Stern is a hippie on a mission in Clay Pigeon (1971), a crime drama about dope and coppers in early ’70s Los Angeles. Tom's a Vietnam vet who's been recruited by fed fuzz Telly Savalas to go undercover and do his dirty work. Even though Tom wants nothing more than to get out of the underworld for good, Telly keeps telling him he has to stick around and give it one more whirl. That's because Telly needs help bringing down drug kingpin Robert Vaughn, who's got L.A. firmly under his thuggish thumb. But things don't go as smoothly as planned for Tom, and it's not long before he finds himself back in a war zone. Bullets fly and people die, but there's also a nice treat for the eye when Marlene Clark bares her torso tarts.
