Fade to Black (1980)

Movie kooks are among the most dedicated zealots in all of fandom. Film buffs will dress and talk in the manner of their cherished characters, they will don outlandish, gender-bending costumes and attend midnight showings of favorite films--week after week, in the company of hundreds of freaks who've adopted similar queer attire. In extreme cases, such as the one documented in Fade to Black (1980), a cinema psycho will go too far. He will use his real-life dramas and enemies to reenact clever movie murders that have captured his imagination.
