Gabrielle Reidy started her career off with a bit part in the Michael Caine hit Educating Rita in 1983, and hasn’t quite moved beyond the “bit part” stage of her career, although bit parts in films like December Bride, The Baby of Macon, and The Devil’s Own are much better than leading roles in movies like Fragments of Isabella, in which she played the title role. (I’m guessing there isn’t much draw to a Gaelic-language feature film…) She has appeared in a few mini-series in Britain, as well, such as Out of Hours and Prime Suspect 5: Errors of Judgement, and held onto a role on the hit series Soldier Soldier for a season, but her career has sadly never really taken off. Thankfully, Gabrielle was kind enough to shoot us some skin in 1986’s The Fantasist, opposite Timothy “That’s My Bush” Bottoms. Although it’s a brief shot, it offers up a good look at her blarney stones, so be sure to check it out.
