Linda Kerridge, a 33-24-34 platinum blonde from Australia, has been called the Down Under Marilyn Monroe, but the beauty is worth admiring for her own talents. Born in Wagga Wagga, the Aussie who'll have you saying hubba hubba was a onetime Blankety Blanks prize model, but when she was just walking down the street in Los Angeles she was discovered and cast as a Monroe double in Richard Lewis' Diary of a Young Comic (1979). Her next role came again as a Monroe lookalike in the tongue-in-cheek horror flick Fade to Black (1980), where Linda goes through a nudie cutie’s rite of passage: the shower scene. We see her wowsers while showering, before a guy dressed as Dracula bursts in and goes to stab her. Her topless likeness to the former Norma Jean, which we must say we liked a whole lot, led to her posing in Playboy, before she finally broke free from the Monroe roles by playing Shirley in Stranger's Kiss (1983). Linda even resorted to cutting her hair into a more punk rock style to escape the shadow of being nothing more than the spot on lookalike that leaves all sorts of spots on our whitey tighties. After ditching the doppelganger gigs by appearing in the Brazilian drug smuggler drama Mixed Blood (1984), the rock and roll space road trip movie Vicious Lips (1986), the waitress being hunted by assassins actioner Down Twisted (1987) and the subterranean sci-fi epic Alien From L.A (1988), Linda did what Marilyn was never able to: escape the Hollywood limelight and live her life in peace. These days Linda lives in Australia's Blue Mountains with her son, and spends her time painting and writing. We respect her new life, so we don't want to press or hound you, but we'd really like to see, one more time, Linda Kerridge, in the nude.
