Smiley (2012)

The Bloody Mary myth gets a suitably goofy Internet update in Smiley (2012). Ashley (Caitlin Gerard) is a college student who has been in an emotionally fragile state ever since her mother's death. That may explain why, after being told the tale of a serial killer with a carved-up "Smiley" face who lives online and appears after unwitting thrill-seekers type in "I did it for the lulz" three times, she doesn't laugh it off. No, instead she becomes obsessed with this urban legend and starts seeing Smiley's carved-up face everywhere she goes. Has the killer been released from the Internet? How do you kill somebody online, anyway? Is that like cyber sex? Mr. Skin doesn't know, but he does know that nubile brunette Nikki Limo's rear view in tight booty shorts will have you frantically clicking your mouse.
