Teen Spirit (2019)

Not to be confused with Alex Ross Perry's Her Smell (2018) which debuted right around the same time, Teen Spirit (2019) marks the feature directorial debut of Max Minghella, son of Oscar winning director Anthony Minghella. This modern take on the Cinderella story stars Elle Fanning as Violet Valenski, a shy and put upon teenager who dreams of one day becoming a pop star. She gets her big chance when a popular television talent show comes to town and she lands the fabled ticket to Hollywood to go and make it big. Although the film was made and released prior to Elle Fanning's nude debut in The Great, she does sport some very visible pokies through a sheer white tank top in one scene! Teen Spirit will entertain us!
