Wyrd Sisters

Based on a novel by Terry Pratchett, the animated Wyrd Sisters takes place on Discworld, which is a world carried by four giant elephants standing on a huge turtle traveling in space. Uhm, okay. Yo, Terry, what have you been smokin’ and when you gonna hook a brother up with some of that shit? At any rate, in a small country on Discworld called Lance, three witches find themselves dragged into royal politics, scheming, and backstabbing when the king is murdered and his rightful heir goes missing. The witches are the flowery Magrat Garlick, the lively Nanny Ogg, and their leader, Granny Weatherwax . They call her that because Granny likes to wax down there whether she needs it or not. Speaking of waxing, we don’t know if actress Jane Horrocks, who plays Magrat, likes to wax down there. But we know she has been naked in a film or two.
